Minnesota Foundation For Fiscal Excellence

The Supporting Research and Education Arm of the MCFE

The Minnesota Foundation for Fiscal Excellence is the 509(a)(3) supporting organization of the MCFE and the home for MCFE’s research and education programs. Formerly known as the Minnesota Center for Public Finance Research, the Foundation is supported by grants and charitable contributions from foundations, organizations, and individuals. MCFE draws upon financial support made to the Foundation to complete funded projects.

Charitable contributions to the Foundation support the MCFE’s work in the following three areas:

  • Fiscal Facts – data collection, comparison and ranking studies on government taxation and spending
  • Government Redesign – in-depth analytical studies that identify and evaluate reforms in government taxation and spending
  • Literacy in Public Finance – educational projects and publications to improve citizen understanding about what government does and how public revenues are raised and spent.

TO CONTRIBUTE: Make your check payable to the Minnesota Foundation for Fiscal Excellence and send to the address at the bottom of this page.   And thank you for your support of good government in Minnesota.
